Without knowing who we were or why we were there, he walked over, took out his penis, looked at us with stinkeye and urinated on the sacred land. This blatant act of disrespect and racism shocked us—not only because of his personal hostility, but because of the energetic damage it inflicted on the land. It was a moment that underscored how negative actions can poison the very mana that sustains a place.

And now, we can’t help but feel that Hawaii’s current troubling decline might indeed be tied to a much deeper energetic imbalance that cannot be ignored. There’s likely some hidden, unacknowledged force—perhaps a massive spiritual distortion or significant karmic wound—that’s throwing the beautiful islands off-center and preventing them from flourishing as they once did. When the energy of a place is out of alignment, even the most breathtaking and picturesque locations can suffer beneath the surface, losing their vibrancy and charm.
