A few thoughts
A teaching thought:
Please do not do wide leg squats where you stick your butt out (see photo, notice the shape of their thighs). It brings imbalance to your knees by overdeveloping Vastus Lateralis (the outside part of the four headed quadriceps muscle.) This will also develop the sweep in the front of the thigh that so many of us do not desire, as well as contribute to tight hip flexors, placing a strain on your spine. Squats, if done at all are better done in anatomical alignment (think chair pose in Yoga).

Did you know that the real key to health is being active. What does this mean? It means getting out of your chair and walking around, delivering a meesage in person instead of emailing the office next door or screaming across the house. It means walking up and down every aisle in Target just because. Every step adds up, burns calories, revs your metabolism and keeps you healthy. This is why I designed the Go! Bag program, to reintroduce health to America. It is the key to maintaining your weight. A little known fact about me is that most of my family is overweight. I am living proof that you do not have to be, you have a choice and a path that you can follow that is relaxing, self esteem building and productive. I am here to teach you if you would like to learn.
